Bosch Mobility UK MD appointed to the Automotive Council
Denham, UK – The Managing Director of Bosch Mobility UK, Dave Buffey, has been appointed to the UK’s joint industry-government Automotive Council. Dave brings a wealth of sector experience to the Council in his new post as Deputy Industry Co-Chair, having been at Bosch for 15 years and now leading the company’s automotive division in the UK.
The Automotive Council was established in 2009 to enhance dialogue and strengthen co-operation between UK government and the automotive sector. The Council is made up of senior figures from across industry and government. Its activities are channelled through sub-groups focused on industry-wide topics including digitalisation and supply chain, which provide evidence, advice and recommendations to government.
A core part of the Automotive Council’s work is strengthening the supply chain and, as one of the leading suppliers to the UK motor industry, Bosch can make a significant contribution to this objective.
Dave said: “Supply chain resilience is a critical component of the UK automotive industry's success, and I’m looking forward to providing our insights from a global supplier perspective to help shape robust and practical solutions.
“I will bring my deep enthusiasm and commitment to the role and will work collaboratively with other Council members. Together, I’m confident that we can navigate the current challenges and achieve our shared goals.”
