Bosch UK greatly expands Automechanika presence

  • Bosch UK triples size of its stand at Automechanika Birmingham
  • Bosch will also exhibit at the Motorvate career show
  • Both events take place at the NEC, Birmingham, on June 3rd – 5th

Denham, May 2025 – Bosch, a leading global supplier of technology and services, will triple the size of its stand at the Automechanika Birmingham show at the National Exhibition Centre on June 3rd – 5th.

Event attendees will be able to see demonstrations and hear from Bosch’s experts in two key areas: Automated Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and their solution to access protected vehicle data: Secure Diagnostic Access (SDA). Tickets to the event are free and Bosch’s stand is number Q90.

Bosch will also show the future of Diagnostics at Automechanika, with presentations at the Workshop Hub on Tuesday 3rd June (10.30-10.55), Wednesday 4th June (15.15-15.40) and Thursday 5th June (11.00-11.25).

Bosch Mobility Aftermarket will also have a stand at the Motorvate show. Motorvate is new for this year. It takes place alongside Automechanika and will provide a deep dive into careers and job opportunities within the automotive sector. It’s aimed at schools, college and university students, tutors, apprentices, garage and bodyshop owners, people exploring mid-career changes, and industry bodies.

Bosch Mobility Aftermarket is a leading trainer of apprentices in the UK and Ireland’s automotive sector and so Motorvate provides an opportunity to explain more about the courses on offer. Among the topics are electric vehicle technology and the use of diagnostic tools to repair and maintain the latest vehicle technologies. There are Bosch Service Training facilities in Denham near Uxbridge, Doncaster, Motherwell in Scotland, and Dublin in Ireland. In total these centres have around 300 students each year.

Sales director of Bosch Mobility Aftermarket UK, Kevin Kelly, said: “We’re looking forward to Automechanika in Birmingham, this show is a highlight for us and we wanted to have a larger stand this time around not just to display more of our latest products and services but because we greatly value meeting so many people at the show. We needed more space to talk to our customers and we’ll have more people from Bosch on the stand too.

“The new Motorvate show is also very important to us. We all know the industry is facing a lack of talent coming through and at Bosch we’re keen to do everything possible to encourage people to seek an automotive career and to explore all the opportunities that the industry offers.”
