A Project Manager is required to lead active safety braking system projects for our customer Jaguar Land Rover. The Project Manager will be leading multiple global project teams with overall responsibility for the delivery, Quality Assurance and profitability of the business and is the main contact partner for the customer.

Your contribution to something big

  • Plan and manage all activities for successful project delivery from project award to SOP +6months.
  • Take the project lead from the Acquisition/current Project Manager and coordinate project team to deliver the project.
  • Follow Bosch Chassis Control Systems (CC) and JLR processes and ensure accurate and regular project reporting.
  • Engage directly with customer teams (engineering, purchase, manufacturing, quality etc.).
  • Lead the CC project team to deliver hardware and software to the requirement specification and within the timing as agreed with the customer.
  • Achievement of business targets with high impact on CC through management of innovative solutions.
  • Perform Project Risk Management and reporting.
  • Project budgeting and control of development costs.
  • Maintain all required internal and external documentation.
  • Develop the project team.
  • Perform Stakeholder Management.

What distinguishes you

  • Electrical / Mechanical / SW Engineering degree.
  • Strong leadership skills (Leading others, Leading myself).
  • Advanced Relationship Management and Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence at all organisational levels both internally and on a customer basis.
  • To have an established experience in the leadership of hardware and software projects.
  • Experience leading an inter-cultural team. Possess a pro-active, self-motivated approach.
  • Customer facing experience
  • Risk Management experience.
  • Possess a strong business acumen, Problem solving ability and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and tools
  • Understanding of automotive development processes as well as a working knowledge of automotive EE architecture and braking systems.
  • Fluent in English (C1).
  • Valid passport and ability to travel.
