You are flexible and willing to go to our headquarters in Abstatt/Germany for about 12 months to build up a network there and to learn all needed details for the job

Your contribution to something big

  • In the business unit „Chassis and Driver Assistance" you will develop and calibrate ESP/ABS in close collaboration with individual UK car manufacturers based on their requirements for dynamics of vehicle movemen
  • Our extensive customer portfolio is spread within premium manufacturers from the sports-car and off-road segment
  • Calibration of ESP functions for longitudinal and lateral functions like "Anti-Lock Braking System" (ABS), "Traction Control System" (TCS), "Hill Hold Control" (HHC) and "Vehicle Dynamics Control" (VDC)
  • Test, calibrate and verify the software and calibration in test vehicles and prototypes on both Bosch test tracks and on international test tracks (Bosch winter test area in north Sweden)
  • Be part of a varied team cooperating with colleagues and customers
  • Take part in numerous tests trips all over the world (Germany, Sweden, Spain, Italy, ...)
  • Driving training courses will be provided so that you are able to drive the vehicle safely and controlled under longitudinal and lateral driving limits
  • A good balance between working at the desk and spending time testing vehicles

What distinguishes you

  • Degree in a relevant engineering subject (i.e. Mechanical, Automotive)
  • Commitment to customer requirements for economic and high quality solutions
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Very good English skills
  • Clean driving license for cars (Clean driving license for trucks beneficial)
  • Ability to drive cars at their physical limits on appropriate test tracks or race tracks (driving training will be provided)
  • Passionate about cars at a professional level and beyond
  • Flexible and willing to go to our headquarters in Abstatt/Germany for 12 months
  • Basic German skills beneficial
  • Participation in applicable Formula student topics beneficial
