The HR Business Partner advises and supports the executives and associates in the allocated area of responsibility in strategic and all operative HR matters. They act as a sparring partner for the executives advising on matters regarding leadership, organisational changes and by exchanging views freely that enable compliance with current legislation and company practices. This is a 12-month fixed term position to cover a period of maternity leave.

Your contribution to something big

  • Facilitating the division strategy, ensuring the implementation of HR standards, comply with current UK employment law, HR policies, and processes in their area of responsibility
  • Selection and retention of associates in their area of responsibility
  • Carrying out the potential reviews in their area of responsibility on the basis of comprehensive knowledge of the individual(s)
  • Governance of remuneration development in their area of responsibility (keeping to budgets and remuneration principles, control / approval of individual pay rises)
  • Supporting the competence management process in their area of responsibility (consultation for executives)
  • Implementation of measures for organizational development in their area of responsibility: consultation and support for organizational changes
  • Implementation of site-specific diversity strategy and activities in addition to advising managers on diversity

What distinguishes you

  • Educated to a degree level (a CIPD qualification would be advantageous)
  • To have previous generalist experience within a large multi-national organisation, with a good understanding of HR processes
  • Project and process orientated mind-set, with an analytical approach
  • Strategic planning capability
  • Strong analytical IT skills including SAP with knowledge of Bosch systems preferable
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Creative thinker
  • Strong communicator across all levels of the organisation and with external contacts
  • Excellent and confident presentation skills
  • German language skills advantageous but not essential
