ETAS-RTA Solutions is established in the automotive market as a high-competence, high-quality and effective organisation. We support our customers across a variety of topics with a major focus on advanced embedded systems (e.g. many core systems, hypervisors), AUTOSAR (e.g. training, migration, extensions) and functional safety (e.g. ISO26262 compliance, ISO25119, etc).

You will be responsible for supporting product managers during the business acquisition phase giving demo and attending technical customer meetings. You will also work with the product development team providing use cases and helping on understanding customer requirements, being the technical bridge between customers and the development team. This role is customer facing, so willingness to travel is a prerequisite.

Your contribution to something big

  • Support of product demonstrations, execution of pilot projects and evaluations together with customers
  • Support the company’s regional organisation and customer engagements (will require global travel)
  • Contribute to RTA software product trainings
  • Provide second level of support (first via RTA Hotline)
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of RTA Starter Kits
  • Participate to events, publishing white papers, documentation and video on most common use cases for RTA products
  • Support the product development team on the elicitation of customer requirements
  • Provide consulting at customers
  • Support, coach and mentor FAE team members

What distinguishes you

  • Master’s degree (or PhD) in an engineering discipline (e.g computer science, control engineering/theory electronics)
  • Willing to travel to support the needs of the UK and overseas business units
  • Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Must have strong presentation and communication skills
  • 5 years+ experience as a product manager
  • Strong business analytical skills
  • Experience of managing and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Experience of AUTOSAR would be very beneficial
  • Experience in requirements engineering
  • Goal-orientated approach
  • Excellent networking and communication skills
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Strong leadership skills and a strong team orientation with interest in interdisciplinary team work
