Bosch Rexroth Ltd is offering one new graduate the opportunity to work with us at our Cirencester office on a 24 month fixed term contract. You would be working within the Design and Engineering area of our business at Cirencester, supporting and encompassing design and engineering support across our Factory Automation range of technologies.This is a role that will add real value to the Engineering Department and will have visibility across the UK business as well as giving the successful candidate first class training
Your responsibilities may include:
3D Modelling using SolidWorks; including the preparation of part and assembly files
Conceptualised design using the Bosch Rexroth catalogue parts including aluminium extrusion, linear actuators, tightening systems and conveyors
2D drafting using SolidWorks to prepare detailed drawings for part models for 3rd party vendors and general assembly drawings to support the manu-facturing phase in our local production facility
Supporting calculations both hand and computerised, including FEA, in order to be able to verify and validate designs to ensure we comply with all the latest ISO/BS/EN standards and produce reports to support findings
Participate in Design meetings and reviews to give input and suggestions to other engineers to ensure we offer the most innovative and cost effective solutions to our customers
Support in the specification and implementation of Bosch Rexroth Factory Automation products to realise customer specific solutions for a wide range of Industrial Applications
Support the complete Engineering sales process from first customer contact through to order fulfilment, having direct contact with the customer, sales teams, purchasing, quality and production departments
Support in the management of customer Enquiries, quotations and post order customer communication and feedback
Support in ensuring projects are planned, monitored and fulfilled successful-ly employing best practice and just in time principles
Support, identification and integration of new and ongoing projects within the company’s Continuous Improvement Program
