As part of a multi-national company operating in the UK from two primary locations – St.Neots and Wakefield, supplying Industrial Electro Hydraulic Drive and Control Solutions; we are recruiting to strengthen our engineering team. Application Engineer - Hydraulic Systems
Take responsibility for developing system solutions by producing circuit designs, specifying components also creating and issuing instructions to allow product realisation. With opportunity to manage a variety of large and small projects, your role will include the preparation of circuits, quotations, specifications, instructions and plans encompassing both technical and commercial activity. Strong communication skills to implement quality checks and to support production evaluation at every stage from inception to delivery will be required.
Qualified to HND, or equivalent, in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, you will need a working knowledge of hydraulic symbols and circuit design. Experience in the manufacture of pipe work systems and fabrications would be an advantage.
Support Engineer – Hydraulic Systems
Working alongside our application engineers, you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of quotations, orders and instructions to facilitate product realisation. Focused and with the ability to provide professional output using a range of software tools your commercial aptitude is to be applied to realise products within budget – on time and to the correct quality.
Qualified to at least ONC level or equivalent, in an engineering discipline ideally aligned to those for an application engineer.
This position will be based at the St Neots facility with occasional to travel to our Wakefield facility as required however, applicants wishing to be based at our Wakefield facility will also be considered.
