43 LI und 37 LI Rotak cordless lawnmowers: The world's first lawnmowers with Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries

These powerful, high performance mowers also spare gardeners the problem of long cabling for mains-driven mowers. Unlike standard rechargeable batteries, the LI cells hardly discharge and are always ready to use when needed. The Rotak mower has a lawn rake that guides grass at the edge of the cutting area into the blades, saving tedious reworking. The Rotak LI from Bosch makes mowing easy and fast. It is available in 37 and 43 centimeter blade lengths.

Isio rechargeable hedge and grass trimmers: the lightest cordless trimmers in the world

Weighing 500 grams, the hedge trimmers with 12 centimeter shears impress due to their Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries. This innovative technology has many advantages: high performance, hardly any discharging and no memory effect, so that the batteries can be recharged at any time without losing capacity. The Isio cuts branches cleanly and easily. Invest a few more euros and Bosch provides a second blade for cutting grass too. One click and the hedge trimmers become lawn trimmers. The telescopic handle also permits cutting lawn verges. The rechargeable battery of the Isio is very simple to use: Once the work is finished, simply return the tool to its practical charging station. The battery lasts about 40 minutes – enough time to trim the edges of two football pitches. Even an empty battery provides full power after a very short recharging period: After only two and a half hours, it is already charged up to 80% of capacity.

The PSR 14.4 LI-2 and PSR 18 LI-2: the world's first DIY powerdrivers with exchangeable Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries

With their new cordless technology and design, the two-gear PSR 14.4 LI-2 and PSR 18 LI-2 cordless powerdrivers are 25% more compact and lighter than comparable cordless powerdrivers – and are still extremely powerful: They can screw 250 screws into soft wood with a single battery charge. The innovative powerdrivers provide exchangeable rechargeable cells, as preferred by DIY enthusiasts, and also have another advantage: They hardly discharge when not in use. Even after four months of non-use, 85% of their charge is still available. Since there is no memory effect, users can constantly recharge the battery during extended use. Two LEDs indicate the rotational direction. The "Powerlight" also sheds bright light on dark corners for easier work. The new cordless powerdrivers are available in two models: the PSR 14.4 LI-2 with a 14.4 volt cell and the PSR 18 LI-2 with an 18 volt cell. The main difference between the two models is the maximum torque (30 and 36 Nm respectively) and maximum wood drilling diameter (30 and 35 mm respectively).
