Bosch injection technology wins in the endurance classic, the 24 Hours of Le Mans
A diesel-powered racing car has once again claimed the crown in the legendary 24-hour challenge at Le Mans with the second consecutive victory for the Audi R10 TDI. As in 2006, when two Audi R10 TDIs finished first and third, Bosch was the development partner for the injection technology, supplying specially adapted common rail injection systems for the Audi racing cars.

150 million brake control systems from Bosch
Bosch is about to produce the 150 millionth brake control system. The success story began back in 1978 with the production launch of the first electronically controlled antilock braking system (ABS), followed in 1986 with the traction control system (TCS) and then the Electronic Stability Program (ESP®) in 1995.

The future of diesel engines began in 1997.
Ten years ago, Bosch introduced the Common Rail injection system for passenger cars to the market.
The first cars to feature this technology were the Alfa Romeo 156 JTD and the Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI

Euro NCAP launch “Choose ESC!” initiative
