The Logistics department is responsible for the co-ordination of Supply Chain Management, from supply, manufacturing and delivery.

Your responsibilities: As a student in the Logistics Department (LOG), you will be assigned to ensure smooth deliveries between plants and central warehouses. This will offer you an opportunity to understand supply chain flow as well as to gain hands on experience working with SAP. Moreover, you will be expected to get involved in cost-benefit analysis, process design, system structure set up and operations. On top with that, you will be assigned some ad hoc supply chain continuous improvement projects focusing on service level improvement, inventory and supply chain cost reduction.

Your profile: You will have a Business Studies background and have a keen interest in Supply Chain Management and Logistics. Previous work experience or previous student placements would be beneficial. You will be able to thrive under pressure, maintain excellent attention to detail and meet strict deadlines. Good time management and organization are important. Excellent knowledge of MS-Office, in particular Excel and good verbal and written English are essential. Knowledge of working with SAP or ERP system would be beneficial but not essential. You will be a flexible team player with good communication skills at all levels and be able to join our team for at least six months starting March 2012.
