Press and Communications Manager (Denham) 

The Communications department (COM) is responsible for ensuring the image of the company is consistent and uniform as a brand and as a company by:

·     Communicating the corporate values, achievements and business strategies of the Bosch Group to internal employees and stakeholders

·         Working with the sales divisions and internal departments to ensure that they are consistent in their communications activities and use the appropriate platforms for communication and branding.

The Press & Communications Manager works within the Corporate Communications team.

Your responsibilities:

Managing and implementing the communications activities as outlined in the Communications Plan, with associated budget responsibility. Managing PR, including press releases, press trips and events, speech writing and media and stakeholder relations. Managing the process of crisis and issues communications. Communicating the Corporate message of Bosch through the appropriate channels: Environment, Technology, Innovation, solutions Provider, CSR, HR. This will include campaign management. Supplying relevant PR and news stories for Bosch corporate internal and external publications and website. Develop public affairs activities – eg. Environment. Coordinating PR opportunities that occur across the Bosch group. Answering media enquiries, if necessary in coordination with the Corporate Communications department in Germany. Supporting PR and media activity for the automotive divisions, OE and AA. Media monitoring and analysis, with associated reporting. Managing all PR and communications suppliers and services.

Your profile: You have strong PR experience and excellent writing skills.You have a degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent. PR or New Media (Twitter/Facebook) Qualification desirable. You have strong internal communication skills. You have the ability to manage several projects at a time. You have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. You are absolutely reliable in meeting deadlines. Ideally 2 years Agency or industry experience. Experience from one or more Bosch business sectors desirable or previous corporate company experience. Crisis management. You have an excellent command of the English language. Hold a full driving licence. You are flexible and can work as part of a team or on an individual basis. You are process orientated, organised,  a team player, flexible and outgoing.
