Logistics Internship (12 months from September 2008)

The overall purpose of the job is to assist in the scheduling and despatch of all finished products from Warndon and Clay Cross by route, customer and product.

Role Responsibilities:

• To schedule the deliveries of boilers to all of our customers
• To maximise efficiencies of transport route
• To maximise efficiencies of loading of vehicles by boiler type
• To co-ordinate continuously with sales and finished goods to ensure delivery deadlines are met
• To maintain stocks and stock transfers at both plants to ensure delivery is met

The Person:

• Ideal opportunity for an individual who wished to develop a career within logistics
• Good administrative and organisational skills
• Ability to communicate confidently with personnel from all levels of the business
• PC literate ideally with familiarity of SAP (although not essential) and competent in Excel
• Good analytical skills
• Driving license preferable
