Manufacturing Internship (6 - 12 months)

Bosch Thermotechnology Ltd. has a commitment to provide training and development.  Within the Manufacturing department there is a Training and Development Manager and this opportunity is to work closely with them to support and assist in achieving training and development objectives.  The training within Manufacturing includes increasing awareness of other areas of the business e.g. the customer service contact centre and the training centre for installers and service engineers.  There is also training on 5S principles, standardisation and business strategy.  This is a great opportunity to learn about the business and have an input into the ongoing training plan.

Role Responsibilities:

Providing general assistance to the Manufacturing Training and Development Manager, the duties of the job will include:

• Plan and facilitate training for Factory Operatives
• Inputting training hours onto a spreadsheet
• Inputting Operator Performance Review data onto a database
• Designing a training session based around a lean manufacturing game

The Person:

• Studying for a Business related degree
• Flexibility of working hours to cover all working shifts
• Computer literate with a good knowledge of Excel and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
• Good administrative and organisational skills
• Able to work as part of a team but also able to use own initiative with the ability to work on their own
