SOE is part of the OE (Original Equipment) division of Bosch and is responsible for the sales of many components and systems supplied to UK based customers.  This position is for a Resident Engineer for ESP systems based at Jaguar Land Rover at Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Your responsibilities:  Vehicle packaging and installation of all components of the product.  Conduct detailed compatibility reviews with signoffs at each major engineering release/freeze level.  Work directly with adjacent and affected JLR and co-supplier subsystems acquire accurate package and product design data.  Perform or supervise CAD translations and data transfers between JLR and Bosch native formats.  Provide Bosch product groups with accurate vehicle package data.  Ensuring all the components of the product are released effectively.  Identify and help solve package, weight, performance, concerns using all available resources.  Support the JLR prototype vehicle building process.  Active member of JLR brake team including open issue tracking and reporting.  Participate in Value Target Setting, Value Analysis, Value Engineering, System Level FMEA, Team Building Sessions, ST Meetings and Training.

Your profile:  You will possess an HND in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent level qualification.  You will have experience of vehicle development either with an OEM or Tier 1 supplier.  You will have experience of Electrical/Electronic systems.  You will possess a clean driving licence and will be able and willing to travel.  You will have the ability to deal with customers at all levels and have strong communication skills.  You will be self motivated and also a team player.  Knowledge of the German language will be advantageous.
