Commercial Sales Manager (1557)

North West and Scotland Area

The overall purpose of this role is to increase market share and achieve sales targets for Buderus Product ranges by the development of business with targeted key customers.

Buderus is recognised as the largest manufacturer of condensing boilers in Europe and have been developing and designing heating appliances for over 275 years.

Our commercial and industrial boiler ranges have recently been launched in the UK, although our products have been tried and tested in European heating markets for many years. Our extensive commercial boiler range includes energy efficient cast iron boilers, stainless steel boilers, as well as the very latest aluminium condensing boilers and multi- boiler cascade systems for maximum fuel savings. We also supply a wide selection of advanced boilers to ensure your commercial heating systems delivers high efficiency and reliable heating year after year. In addition, we are in the process of launching new technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish awareness of Buderus and the Buderus Product range.
  • To secure long term, profitable business and market share gains.
  • To build long term relationships with key customers.
  • To develop a network of industry contacts, including colleagues in other sales teams.
  • To develop business by focussing on the needs of these customers, whether they are investors, local authorities, consultants and specifiers, contractors or merchants.
  • To cover the North West and Scotland Area which includes the following postcodes: FK, KY, G, EH, ML, KA, TD, DG, CA, LA, FY, PR, BB, OL, BL, WN, L, WA, M, CH, CW, SK

 Person:

The successful candidate will be an experienced sales professional, ideally with experience in the commercial and industrial heating market.  With a technical aptitude you will have or be willing to acquire the knowledge required for this role to deal with consultants and specifiers. You will need to posses good communication skills required to acquire new customers and build sustainable working relationships. You will already have extensive contacts and a good reputation within the industry.

Extensive product (technical) training will be given and full technical back up is available.

The successful candidate should have a flexible approach to working hours to meet and exceed the expectations of their key customers.
